I have just returned from India. India has lots to offer. I went to Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi & Agra. It was an astonishing experience. Unfortunately, I also had unforgettable bad moments. The first place I visited is Mumbai. The pollution there was unbearable. I saw people threw rubbish anywhere as they pleased. Just like what I had seen in a worship place called Haji Ali. It made me nearly collapsing due to the extremely bad odor. I looked rubbish was just everywhere and people sat around breathing the unbearable smell. The second day, my friends and I went to a temple in Kanchipuram in Chennai. I felt that I was ripped off in this Temple. There was man whodemanded money from us. He said that he was a Priest who had to feed a lot of people. We gave him 1000 rupees and he said it wasn't enough and asked for another 4000 rupees. I thought my friends and I felt a bit scared so we gave in and gave away a total of 5000 rupees. The priest was a young man about 25 years old and was wearing lots of gold jewelry. After this experience, I refused to enter any temples in India. When I wanted to buy some souvenir for family, salesmen outside our hotel appeared to be really annoying. We were being chased by them. They hassled us from our hotel through town, saying things like "punjabi suit lenahai... sari lenahai..." He didn't give chance for us to look at things properly before deciding to buy. I could hardly do any shopping without being hassled. I didn't really enjoy going to India last time. Hopefully, I could go there again in different situation, better condition, and well preparation.
